Job Description
- As an SDE-2 Backend Engineer/Fullstack at Jio, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications that cater to millions of users.
- They will work closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and ensure the performance and reliability of the systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Offer technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Engage in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Optimize backend systems to handle large volumes of data and high traffic, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, design decisions, and API specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
- 3-6 years of experience in high-level programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, including scalability, availability, and fault-tolerance.
- Understanding of relational and NoSQL database systems.
- Experience with message brokers and cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Skills And Experience
Must-Have
- Strong programming skills in Python or Java.
- Experience with REST API development, Test-Driven Development, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Docker, Kubernetes, and database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
Good-to-Have
- Experience with Agile methodology, product development in a product-based company.
